Accountabilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of scalable AI-powered systems while driving engineering excellence across the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining customer-facing AI platform services and product features primarily using Python while integrating with existing backend ecosystems.
• Developing agentic systems, including workflow orchestration, tool execution, state management, recovery mechanisms, and evaluation capabilities.
• Integrating large language model (LLM)-powered workflows into production environments while ensuring reliability, scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Designing and improving AI evaluation, tracing, observability, and feedback systems to monitor quality and continuously enhance user experiences.
• Evaluating AI models and providers for specific use cases and creating flexible architectures that adapt to the evolving AI landscape.
• Writing clean, maintainable, well-tested, and documented code while promoting strong software engineering practices.
• Collaborating with product, design, data, security, and engineering stakeholders to transform complex AI opportunities into reliable customer solutions.
• Supporting technical leadership through architecture discussions, code reviews, mentoring, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Building and operating services involving databases, APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong expertise in production systems, AI technologies, and scalable software development. You should bring:

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer building, deploying, and operating production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including experience developing APIs, backend services, testing strategies, debugging, and operational ownership.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating AI systems, agentic workflows, LLM-powered applications, or automation frameworks.
• Experience with AI tooling and frameworks such as LangChain, LangSmith, LangGraph, PydanticAI, CrewAI, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of AI architecture patterns including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, model evaluation, prompt management, and AI observability.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, API-driven architectures, data modeling, and reliable service design.
• Ability to work across multiple technologies and programming languages, with experience integrating backend services in different ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, testing methodologies, performance optimization, and secure development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and ambiguous requirements.
• Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, and time-management skills within remote, globally distributed teams.
• Business-level English proficiency, both written and verbal.
