Accountabilities:

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and evolving robust software solutions that support a scalable technology platform. You will contribute to technical decisions, improve engineering practices, and deliver reliable products that create meaningful value for customers.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices that support core platform capabilities.
• Build APIs and integrations with e-commerce platforms, ERPs, and external services.
• Develop event-driven architectures to support asynchronous processing and large-scale data flows.
• Contribute to both backend and frontend development initiatives.
• Design, optimize, and maintain high-performance PostgreSQL databases, including complex queries and data models.
• Participate in architecture discussions and influence technical decisions across the product.
• Conduct code reviews and support the technical growth of other engineers.
• Ensure application quality through testing, observability, performance improvements, and scalability practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and development workflows.
• Connect technical decisions with product outcomes and customer impact.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a senior-level engineer with strong experience building full-stack applications, distributed systems, and scalable software solutions. You should have a passion for engineering excellence, ownership, and solving complex challenges in a fast-moving environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong experience developing applications with React.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including database modeling, optimization, and complex queries.
• Experience designing and working with microservices and distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of asynchronous processing and messaging systems.
• Experience building scalable systems capable of handling high volumes of data.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and automated testing practices.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or New Relic is a plus.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS is a plus.
• Experience integrating with e-commerce platforms, ERPs, or communication APIs is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Experience working with B2B SaaS products or scale-up environments is a plus.
