This role offers an exciting opportunity to design and maintain the foundational systems and SDKs that power cross-platform product experiences. The Senior Software Engineer will work at the intersection of product and infrastructure, creating clear, reliable APIs and efficient systems that directly enhance user interactions. Accountabilities:
- Build and maintain foundational services, SDKs, and APIs across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with product teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver features efficiently while balancing UX and integration trade-offs.
- Optimize existing systems to improve performance, including faster loading, intelligent parsing, and better abstractions.
- Develop cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Apply systems thinking to design end-to-end solutions that are simple, reliable, and scalable.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical challenges while ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Strong experience in software engineering with hands-on coding expertise, preferably in Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Proven ability to design and maintain scalable APIs and backend services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated experience balancing strategic thinking with tactical execution.
