Accountabilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving reliable software solutions while contributing to technical decisions and product evolution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering efforts align with customer needs and business goals.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems focused on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Own complex engineering projects from initial planning and technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with product and customer-facing teams to understand requirements and translate business challenges into effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the technical direction of the platform.
• Review code, provide technical guidance, and support other engineers in solving complex problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering practices, system performance, and development workflows.
• Take ownership of deliverables while ensuring high standards of quality, security, and reliability.
• Participate in building and scaling products within a fast-moving, product-focused environment.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in backend development, system design, and building scalable applications. You should be comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and collaborating in a distributed team environment.

• Senior-level experience building scalable, high-performance backend systems.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade software applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and engineering best practices.
• Ability to independently manage projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Experience providing technical guidance through code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment with a high degree of autonomy.
• Experience working within high-growth startups or small engineering teams is a plus.
