Senior Product Manager

Team: Product

Location: US

Commitment: Full-time

Workplace Type: remote

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager based in United States.

This is an opportunity for an experienced product leader to own a meaningful product area within a global SaaS environment. You’ll shape product strategy, define priorities, and turn complex customer problems into focused, measurable product bets. Working closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Research, Marketing, and commercial teams, you’ll guide initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration. The role requires strong product judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and a genuine focus on customer outcomes rather than simply delivering features. You’ll balance user needs, technical considerations, product quality, and commercial impact while helping teams move quickly and learn continuously. You’ll also explore how AI can transform customer experiences, workflows, and the way modern software products are built.

Accountabilities

    • Own the product strategy, vision, roadmap, and priorities for a key product area, ensuring alignment with broader platform and business objectives.
    • Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, needs, pain points, and desired outcomes through customer conversations, research, behavioral data, and market insights.
    • Identify and evaluate product opportunities, translating ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, product bets, and measurable outcomes.
    • Partner closely with Engineering and Design throughout discovery, prioritization, development, delivery, and iteration rather than treating product development as a handoff process.
    • Collaborate with Data and Research teams to understand customer behavior, validate assumptions, measure outcomes, and determine whether product investments are delivering value.
    • Make informed prioritization and trade-off decisions across customer needs, business objectives, technical investments, product quality, and available resources.
    • Define success metrics before and after launches and use quantitative and qualitative insights to continuously improve product direction.
    • Design and run experiments when appropriate, incorporating results and learnings into future product decisions.
    • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to incorporate commercial and customer context into product strategy.
    • Communicate product direction, priorities, decisions, and rationale clearly to teams, stakeholders, and leadership, building alignment around a shared vision.
    • Guide teams from ideas to shipped experiences while maintaining a strong connection to the original customer problem and intended outcome.
    • Think beyond individual features to understand how the product area contributes to the broader platform and customer experience.
    • Explore opportunities to use AI to enhance customer experiences, transform workflows, enable automation, and create new ways for users to derive value from the product.
    • Requirements

      • Significant experience building and scaling digital products, ideally within SaaS, product-led growth, collaboration software, productivity tools, or similarly product-focused environments.
      • Strong product judgment and the ability to combine customer insights, behavioral data, research, business context, and intuition to make effective decisions.
      • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous and complex product problems, create structure, and establish a clear direction.
      • Strong customer-centric mindset focused on solving meaningful problems and delivering measurable outcomes rather than simply shipping features.
      • Proven experience working closely with Engineering and Design as collaborative partners throughout the product development lifecycle.
      • Ability to establish a clear product direction while maintaining practical focus on near-term priorities and execution.
      • Confidence making difficult trade-offs, taking ownership of decisions, and clearly communicating the reasoning behind them.
      • Sound judgment around when to conduct research, when to experiment, and when sufficient evidence exists to move forward.
      • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
      • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how product decisions can influence activation, engagement, retention, expansion, and revenue.
      • Curiosity about AI and its potential to change both product development and how customers interact with software.
      • Strong attention to product quality and the details that contribute to an intuitive, valuable customer experience.
      • Experience in one or more relevant areas such as product-led growth, onboarding, activation, retention, creation tools, editors, platform products, APIs, integrations, developer ecosystems, analytics, data products, pricing, monetization, AI-powered products, automation, intelligent workflows, or B2B SaaS.
      • Benefits

        • Opportunity to lead a significant product area within a global SaaS organization.
        • Remote work opportunity for eligible employees based in the United States.
        • Opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Research, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
        • Exposure to innovative AI-powered product development and emerging intelligent workflows.
        • Inclusive, diverse, and collaborative working environment centered on respect, transparency, and trust.
        • Opportunity to influence product strategy, customer experience, and broader business outcomes.
        • Professional growth opportunities through ownership of complex, high-impact product initiatives.
