Senior Product Designer

Accountabilities:

• Own the end-to-end product design process, from problem definition and research through prototyping, launch, and continuous iteration.
• Simplify complex workflows, marketplace dynamics, rules, and edge cases into clear and approachable user experiences.
• Conduct user research and engage directly with members and hosts to identify needs, pain points, and opportunities.
• Partner with product managers to shape product strategy, prioritize opportunities, and connect customer needs with measurable business outcomes.
• Use customer feedback, qualitative and quantitative data, prototypes, and experiments to validate assumptions and improve experiences.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, operations, data, ML, and AI teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Create polished, responsive interfaces in Figma using reusable components, thoughtful interaction patterns, and established design-system principles.
• Prototype and design AI-powered features and intelligent workflows in partnership with technical teams.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products, ideally within marketplace environments or products with complex acquisition funnels.
• Strong UX and user-research skills, with the ability to engage directly with users and translate insights into effective product solutions.
• Strong product and business judgment, including the ability to connect design decisions with metrics, revenue, and relevant business considerations such as rent, ROI, and occupancy.
• Experience designing multi-step workflows, complex service experiences, and products with numerous edge cases.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and interaction design across web and mobile, with strong systems thinking and an understanding of reusable components.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Demonstrated experience designing AI-powered features and using modern AI tools as part of the design process.
• A collaborative, humble, curious, empathetic, and mission-driven approach, with strong communication skills and a commitment to solving meaningful customer problems.
