Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and distributed systems using Python.
- Build responsive and modern frontend features with React to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Develop, integrate, and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs to support high-performance applications.
- Implement microservices and event-driven architectures to improve system scalability, resilience, and efficiency.
- Create and execute unit, API, regression, and performance tests to ensure software quality.
- Optimize applications for reliability, fault tolerance, and low-latency performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve platform stability.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architecture planning, and engineering best practices.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, including strong expertise in Python.
- Proven experience building scalable distributed systems and microservices in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development practices.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, object-oriented programming, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and both relational and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, or Redshift.
- Understanding of event-driven architectures, performance optimization, and high-availability systems is considered an advantage.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, or high-traffic e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.
- 100% remote position based in Brazil.
