In this role, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications by designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and validate that solutions meet functional and technical expectations. Your responsibilities will include functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, as well as identifying and tracking defects throughout the development lifecycle. You will contribute to improving quality assurance processes by promoting best practices, strengthening test coverage, and supporting the adoption of effective testing methodologies. - Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, product stakeholders, and other team members to understand requirements, expected functionality, and user scenarios.
- Identify, document, report, and track software defects and quality issues, ensuring clear communication and appropriate follow-up through resolution.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to verify application behavior and identify potential risks before release.
- Participate in requirements reviews, specification assessments, and project planning sessions to identify testing needs and potential quality concerns early in the development process.
- Apply appropriate testing methodologies, including end-to-end testing and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), to validate business requirements and user workflows.
- Promote QA best practices, contribute to process standardization, and identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and software quality.
- Support the definition, monitoring, and evaluation of quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), helping ensure that project quality objectives are achieved.
- Maintain organized test documentation, test results, and defect records using relevant test management and bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), supporting continuous improvement and reliable delivery within agile project environments.
- Proven experience as a QA Analyst, QA Engineer, or in a similar software quality assurance role, preferably working on medium- to large-scale projects.
- Good knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA tools, and testing processes, including end-to-end testing and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Familiarity with test management systems and bug-tracking tools for documenting test cases, recording defects, and monitoring resolution progress.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to investigate complex problems, identify defects, and assess potential quality risks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Intermediate English proficiency, particularly for reading and writing technical documentation and communicating with international teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage testing activities, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- A proactive mindset and commitment to maintaining high quality standards and continuously improving QA practices.
