This role offers the opportunity to lead complex international clinical research projects that directly contribute to advancing healthcare solutions. You will oversee oncology and rare disease studies, ensuring operational excellence, quality, and successful delivery from initiation through completion. Working within a collaborative global environment, you will partner with sponsors, clinical teams, scientific experts, and external stakeholders to drive meaningful outcomes. The position requires strong project leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly regulated industry. You will play a key role in maintaining timelines, budgets, compliance standards, and overall study success. Accountabilities:
- Manage international clinical trial projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, senior leadership, and key project stakeholders regarding study progress and operational updates.
- Develop, review, and maintain project plans, milestones, timelines, and study documentation.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings throughout the study lifecycle, including initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.
- Coordinate project team members, provide guidance and training when needed, and ensure effective task allocation.
- Represent the organization in external meetings with sponsors, scientific experts, regulatory committees, and industry partners.
- Support the development and review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and study-specific training materials to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage relationships with external service providers and support vendor selection and oversight activities.
- Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure effective resolution of operational challenges.
- Contribute to proposal development and bid defense activities.
- Experience managing international clinical trials within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience within oncology and/or rare disease therapeutic areas.
- Experience managing external vendors and service providers.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate complex clinical research activities.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with sponsors, medical experts, and clinical research stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory expectations, and industry standards.
