Accountabilities:

• Lead and manage interdisciplinary clinical research projects, ensuring delivery according to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders and sponsors, supporting successful study initiation, execution, and completion.
• Ensure all assigned studies comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate project teams, study partners, and operational activities while proactively identifying and resolving risks or issues.
• Manage project financial performance, tracking budgets and supporting efficient resource allocation.
• Oversee project plans, study milestones, deliverables, and documentation requirements, including Trial Master File (TMF) quality and completeness.
• Maintain accurate study information across project management systems and databases.
• Support inspection readiness activities and ensure operational processes meet regulatory standards.
• Prepare and present project updates, reports, and status information for internal and external meetings.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to support successful study outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support future collaboration opportunities.
• Participate in business development activities, including bid defense meetings when required.
• Provide guidance and leadership to project management team members or clinical monitoring staff when applicable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research, including previous project management experience.
• Experience working within a clinical research organization (CRO) environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing clinical studies, project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in both written and spoken formats.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and internal teams.
• Direct therapeutic area experience is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and digital tools used in clinical research.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed, approximately 25%.
