This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Program Manager based in the United States.
This role will oversee the execution of large and complex government task orders within a mission-focused technology and cybersecurity environment.
You will support senior program leadership while coordinating closely with Government Contracting Officers, task order managers, and agency stakeholders.
The position carries responsibility for planning, scheduling, resources, risk management, and timely delivery of technical solutions.
You will lead cross-functional teams implementing cyber resilience strategies while ensuring alignment with applicable DoD standards and directives.
Strong stakeholder engagement and clear communication will be essential to maintaining alignment across technical and government teams.
The role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to high-impact programs supporting national security and mission assurance.
This position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid.
Accountabilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned task order execution, including project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, performance monitoring, and risk management.
- Support the Program Manager in coordinating with Government Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer Representatives, task order managers, government management personnel, and customer agency representatives.
- Lead project teams in the implementation of cybersecurity resilience strategies, technical solutions, and program deliverables.
- Ensure project activities, technical solutions, schedules, and deliverables remain aligned with contract requirements and applicable DoD standards and directives.
- Establish and maintain project schedules, monitor milestones, identify risks and dependencies, and take corrective action when performance or delivery deviates from expectations.
- Provide regular project status updates, performance reports, and other required communications to government leadership and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, project leadership, government personnel, and customer representatives.
- Monitor program performance metrics and use findings to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Support timely execution of task order requirements while maintaining strong standards for quality, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or four additional years of related professional experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 5 years of leadership experience with progressively increasing responsibility in the public and/or private sector, particularly within IT or consulting.
- Active Project Management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or another recognized project management credential.
- Strong understanding of Department of Defense cybersecurity frameworks, cyber resilience strategies, and related compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in dynamic, mission-focused environments.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, risk management, and performance monitoring capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with government officials, technical teams, senior leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve issues, and maintain focus on contract requirements and delivery objectives.
- Must possess a Moderate Risk, Non-Critical Sensitive, Tier 3 (T3)/NACLC/ANACI investigative eligibility.
- Must hold a Secret security clearance.
- A master’s degree in a related discipline and/or additional professional certifications is preferred.
- Annual salary range of $145,000–$165,000.
