This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Program Delivery Manager - Supply Chain Consulting based in United States.
As a Program Delivery Manager, you will help drive the successful delivery of complex Supply Chain Consulting engagements in a remote, international environment.
You will coordinate resources, mobilize project teams, and establish delivery structures that keep client engagements on track.
Working across consulting teams, technical specialists, regional stakeholders, and external partners, you will help resolve operational challenges and competing priorities.
You will provide visibility into project health, resource capacity, delivery risks, and performance for leadership and governance teams.
The role combines program management, resource planning, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement.
You will also help strengthen delivery processes, tools, and best practices as the consulting organization evolves.
Occasional travel may be required based on client and business needs, typically less than 10%.
Accountabilities:
- Coordinate resource requests across multiple consulting engagements, matching project requirements with available skills, certifications, locations, and capacity.
- Maintain visibility into delivery demand, resource gaps, utilization, mobilization risks, and emerging capacity constraints.
- Develop mobilization plans, project schedules, dependency trackers, and other operational tools to support effective project delivery.
- Apply structured project governance practices, including risk, issue, action, dependency, and performance tracking.
- Monitor project health, resource utilization, delivery performance, and key operational indicators, providing clear updates to leadership and governance forums.
- Resolve resource conflicts, scheduling challenges, project dependencies, and other delivery issues by coordinating stakeholders across consulting, operations, and external partner teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning, resource allocation, delivery efficiency, and operational processes.
- Contribute to resource planning tools, skills inventories, dashboards, reporting frameworks, and delivery best practices.
- Identify capability gaps and support initiatives designed to strengthen overall delivery operations and consulting capacity.
- Collaborate with Practice Directors, consultants, technical specialists, regional teams, and other stakeholders to ensure engagements are appropriately staffed and effectively mobilized.
- Support the ongoing development and improvement of global delivery and operations capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in project delivery, program management, consulting operations, service delivery, resource management, or a related field.
- Strong capabilities in project governance, resource planning, stakeholder management, and operational problem-solving.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, particularly Teams, Excel, and project planning applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions, regions, and levels of seniority while building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in supply chain, sustainability, risk, assurance, audit, or consulting environments is advantageous.
- Experience with dashboards, capacity planning, operational reporting, or resource management platforms is a plus.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or a comparable project/program management certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools that can improve planning, reporting, resource management, or operational efficiency is beneficial.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong accountability, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally, generally less than 10%, depending on client and business requirements.
- Competitive annual salary range of $102,000–$127,500, with actual compensation based on experience, education, location, competencies, and other business factors.
