Accountabilities:

• Define and lead the creative direction of AI-native video, motion, and design projects, setting a high standard for originality, quality, and storytelling.

• Personally develop and produce creative work that demonstrates how generative AI can deliver compelling results beyond technical experimentation.

• Create brand films, campaign assets, and product storytelling that combine traditional production methods with AI-led workflows.

• Establish the creative technology stack, selecting and applying generative AI tools while defining when traditional methods are more appropriate.

• Design repeatable workflows, production methods, and creative principles that enable the wider team to adopt AI capabilities effectively.

• Identify the strengths and limitations of emerging AI tools and translate them into practical creative production approaches.

• Collaborate with the Creative Director, video and motion teams, and brand designers to integrate AI-native practices into the studio's work.

• Champion responsible AI creative practices, including clear principles around likeness, disclosure, and content provenance.

• Raise the quality and ambition of creative output through hands-on experimentation, direction, and production.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience across video, motion, or design, combining creative direction with hands-on production.

• Recent experience creating or directing work using generative AI, with a portfolio demonstrating strong creative quality and storytelling.

• Deep knowledge of current generative AI tools and production technologies, including their capabilities, limitations, and practical applications.

• Demonstrated ability to build repeatable AI-powered creative workflows that other team members can adopt and use effectively.

• Strong creative judgment and the ability to balance technical innovation with brand quality, originality, and audience impact.

• A clear perspective on responsible AI use, particularly regarding likeness rights, disclosure, and content provenance.

• Additional assets: A diverse portfolio or showreel spanning live-action, motion, and generative work.

• Experience establishing and developing an AI creative practice within an existing studio or creative team.

• A public point of view, published work, or demonstrated thought leadership on the role of AI in creative production.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence creative direction while remaining actively involved in making the work.

• Annual gross base salary range of USD $170,000–$225,000, with final compensation localized according to the candidate's country, experience, skills, and location.
