Accountabilities:

• Operate, maintain, and continuously evolve infrastructure supporting Data and AI platforms, ensuring scalability, security, resilience, and high availability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, establishing reusable modules, consistent standards, and reliable deployment practices.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application validation, testing, and deployment.
• Support the internal AI platform by providing the infrastructure and operational foundations required for LLM gateways, AI agents, interfaces, and related workloads.
• Implement and evolve observability practices across supported platforms, including logging, metrics, alerting, monitoring, and incident troubleshooting.
• Partner closely with Data, AI, and Infrastructure teams to design practical solutions for critical, high-availability environments.
• Document technical decisions, operational processes, standards, and best practices to strengthen knowledge sharing and enable the continued growth of the platform.
• Contribute to platform standardization, reliability improvements, automation initiatives, and the continuous evolution of cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Advanced professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE, with hands-on responsibility for supporting and evolving production environments in the cloud.
• Strong practical knowledge of AWS, including IAM and least-privilege principles, networking and security concepts such as VPCs, subnets, and security groups, as well as storage services such as S3.
• Experience with AWS compute services such as ECS, EKS, or Lambda for application execution and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, ECR, Secrets Manager, and KMS.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, including reusable module development, state and backend management, and infrastructure drift resolution.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining modern CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Strong Git version-control skills and experience working in collaborative engineering environments with Pull Requests and Code Reviews.
• Experience with cloud observability and platform operations, including logs, metrics, alerts, system resilience, incident response, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills, with the ability to work effectively across Data, AI, and Infrastructure teams.
• Experience with Terragrunt, Databricks, Python or Go, Airflow, dbt, Metabase, internal AI platforms, LLM applications, PostgreSQL/RDS/Aurora, or regulated environments is considered a plus.
• Additional value is placed on experience with RAG, LLM gateways, AI agents, access-control and identity management, platform standardization, critical-environment improvements, and incident response.
