This role offers the opportunity to support global industrial operations through advanced remote monitoring and diagnostic expertise.
The position focuses on analyzing machinery performance data, identifying potential equipment issues, and helping customers improve reliability and operational efficiency.
Working within a specialized engineering environment, you will leverage vibration analysis, monitoring systems, and technical troubleshooting skills.
You will collaborate with global experts and customers across industries such as energy, manufacturing, and heavy industrial operations.
The role combines technical analysis, customer support, and proactive problem-solving to prevent equipment failures and optimize asset performance.

Accountabilities:

    The Monitoring & Diagnostic Engineer will be responsible for delivering remote technical support and condition monitoring services by analyzing equipment data, identifying risks, and providing actionable recommendations. Key responsibilities include:

    • Reviewing remote machinery and system alerts, analyzing vibration, temperature, and process data to validate potential equipment issues.
    • Performing remote monitoring activities using specialized diagnostic platforms and condition monitoring systems.
    • Logging, tracking, and managing technical cases through web-based case management tools.
    • Preparing technical exception reports and periodic performance reports for customer review.
    • Collaborating with technical specialists and subject matter experts to troubleshoot complex machinery and system-related challenges.
    • Applying established engineering procedures and guidelines to ensure accurate and consistent diagnostic activities.
    • Supporting customers by communicating technical findings clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
    • Managing priorities independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality service delivery.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate will bring strong engineering expertise, experience in machinery diagnostics, and the ability to communicate technical insights effectively. Required qualifications and skills include:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
      • Minimum 6 years of experience in condition monitoring, machinery diagnostics, or a similar customer-facing engineering role.
      • Strong understanding of industrial plant processes and operating principles of rotating and reciprocating machinery.
      • ISO Category II or III Vibration Analysis certification.
      • Experience monitoring critical machinery, including fluid film bearings and rolling element bearing systems.
      • Knowledge of online and offline condition monitoring systems and associated sensors/transducers.
      • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and platforms such as ADRE, System 1, or similar data collection systems.
      • Ability to work independently, organize priorities, and manage multiple technical tasks effectively.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based environments, including basic IT troubleshooting.
