Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot, delivering reliable and scalable solutions aligned with business and user needs.
• Build and maintain clean, simple, readable, and easily maintainable code following Clean Code principles.
• Develop and maintain unit tests, contributing to application quality and reducing technical risks.
• Participate actively in code reviews, sharing knowledge and helping maintain high engineering standards across the team.
• Work with Oracle and MongoDB databases as part of application development and maintenance.
• Develop and support solutions running in AWS, contributing to cloud-based application environments.
• Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to improve application capabilities, user experience, and process maturity.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and delivery practices, including dailies, sprints, reviews, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives across the development lifecycle.
• When relevant, work with technologies and practices such as AWS pipelines, Lambda, Sonar, microservices architecture, Docker, OCP, and VSTS.

Requirements

• Professional experience developing applications with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience writing unit tests and participating in code reviews.
• Strong understanding of Clean Code principles and software maintainability.
• Experience working with Oracle and MongoDB databases.
• Practical knowledge of AWS and cloud-based development environments.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, including daily meetings, sprint planning, and reviews.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, AWS pipelines, Lambda, Sonar, OCP, or VSTS is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with legacy Java technologies, including Servlets, JSP, JAX-WS, or JAX-RS, is advantageous.
• Experience with Docker is a plus.
• Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and continuous-learning skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and client stakeholders.
• If you live in the Campinas Metropolitan Region, availability to work from the offices in the city is required, in accordance with the applicable attendance policy.
