Accountabilities:

• Lead technical execution for an agile software engineering team, ensuring priorities, development activities, and deliverables remain aligned with business and product objectives.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across software architecture, development, troubleshooting, and implementation.
• Remain actively involved in coding and technical decision-making while balancing engineering leadership responsibilities.
• Guide architecture and modernization initiatives designed to improve scalability, maintainability, reliability, and engineering efficiency.
• Mentor engineers through technical challenges, career development, code quality practices, and effective software delivery approaches.
• Establish and improve engineering processes, standards, and development practices that promote consistent, high-quality delivery.
• Partner closely with Product and QA teams to coordinate roadmap execution, manage dependencies, and resolve technical or delivery challenges.
• Support full-stack engineering activities across backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and related development environments.
• Improve operational reliability by identifying engineering risks, addressing technical issues, and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Encourage the effective adoption of modern development tools, including AI-powered engineering tools and methodologies.
• Provide day-to-day technical coordination and ensure clear communication across engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Contribute directly to initiatives spanning product, platform, and engineering capabilities that improve customer experience and business outcomes.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including strong expertise in C#/.NET and modern UI frameworks such as React.js.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring software engineers.
• Strong full-stack engineering capabilities spanning backend development, frontend technologies, cloud environments, and software architecture.
• Experience with AI development tools, AI-assisted engineering practices, and modern software development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, development lifecycle practices, and operational reliability.
• Ability to remain technically hands-on while providing leadership, direction, and mentorship to an engineering team.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, Product, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on simplifying systems and improving engineering outcomes.
• Ability to balance technical quality, delivery priorities, team effectiveness, and broader business objectives.
• A continuous-improvement mindset and enthusiasm for building, modernizing, and simplifying software systems.
