Accountabilities:

The Java Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. The role requires strong technical ownership, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software products.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Build scalable and secure APIs and backend services to support business applications.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into efficient software solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable features and improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application quality through clean coding practices, testing, and adherence to development standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in production environments.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and support the evolution of backend platforms.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a backend engineer with strong Java development experience and a proven ability to build enterprise-grade applications. Candidates should have solid technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming and backend development practices.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience working with databases and backend data management solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and deliver effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.
• Self-driven mindset with the ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work.
• Experience working in enterprise applications or large-scale systems is a plus.
