Accountabilities:

The role is responsible for leading engineering execution, shaping technical strategies, and delivering scalable solutions that improve partner acquisition and onboarding experiences.

• Lead and support a cross-functional engineering team while maintaining a hands-on approach to coding, architecture, and technical decision-making.
• Drive the development of highly optimized self-service products that reduce friction and improve onboarding experiences for business partners.
• Design and evolve experimentation platforms and processes, enabling reliable A/B testing and data-driven product improvements.
• Architect and oversee solutions connecting frontend applications, backend services, and enterprise data workflows.
• Establish engineering best practices, including modern software development lifecycle standards, code quality practices, automated testing, and technical documentation.
• Promote the adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
• Guide system design decisions involving React-based applications, backend services, cloud infrastructure, microservices, and micro-frontend architectures.
• Foster a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning within the team.
• Support innovation initiatives focused on experimentation, scalability, and improving digital experiences.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader with strong technical depth, a passion for hands-on development, and the ability to guide teams through complex software challenges.

• Proven experience managing or leading cross-functional software engineering teams in high-growth, product-focused environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern frontend development using React and TypeScript.
• Deep architectural knowledge of full-stack ecosystems, including Kotlin or Java, AWS, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and working with scalable systems, including microservices and micro-frontend architectures.
• Practical knowledge of experimentation methodologies, A/B testing strategies, feature flagging tools, and data-driven product optimization.
• Experience with tools such as Growthbook, LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, or similar experimentation platforms is highly valuable.
• Ability to code, review pull requests, and provide technical guidance across engineering teams.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar solutions into coding, documentation, and review workflows.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional English proficiency, with experience collaborating effectively with distributed global teams.
• Strong async communication skills, ownership mindset, and ability to balance strategic thinking with technical execution.
