Accountabilities:

The Engineering Team Lead will own technical execution and business impact by leading engineering initiatives, guiding the team, and developing scalable solutions that support business growth.

• Own key business outcomes in partnership with Product, Design, Analytics, and operational stakeholders.
• Lead the development and evolution of customer-facing and internal platforms that enable critical business decisions.
• Define and improve technical architecture to enhance scalability, reliability, availability, and data accuracy.
• Drive engineering strategy and technology decisions that support long-term platform growth and sustainable infrastructure investments.
• Build highly scalable data platforms, intuitive user experiences, and reliable workflow automation solutions.
• Lead technical implementation of automation initiatives, AI-enabled development practices, and emerging technologies.
• Improve platform performance through enhanced user experience, reduced latency, stronger monitoring, alerting, and data consistency.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery through code reviews, engineering standards, and technical oversight.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Analytics, Operations, Supply Chain, and business teams to translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers, develop technical leadership capabilities within the team, and foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
• Promote rapid experimentation and shorter feedback cycles to accelerate innovation and delivery.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering expertise, experience leading technical teams, and the ability to operate effectively in an environment requiring innovation, scale, and rapid execution.

• 6–8+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in data platform engineering, backend systems, and front-end application development.
• Proven experience designing rapid experiments, scaling successful solutions, and evolving large-scale distributed platforms.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, infrastructure design, and engineering best practices.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers across different levels of technical expertise.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to navigate ambiguity and work through rapid iteration cycles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in small, agile teams, preferably within startup environments.
• Experience in B2B technology, e-commerce, workflow automation, reporting platforms, or analytics systems is preferred.
• Ability to influence cross-functional partners, including Product, Analytics, Operations, and senior business stakeholders.
• Passion for leveraging AI, automation, and modern engineering practices to improve business outcomes.
