Accountabilities:

• Develop and evolve fullstack features with a strong focus on automated testing, monitoring, reliability, and software quality.
• Contribute actively to architectural decisions and help sustain distributed, flexible, and scalable systems.
• Support the definition of technical solutions and software architecture for new and existing projects.
• Ensure the different stages of the software development lifecycle are executed effectively and according to established engineering practices.
• Participate in and monitor production deployments, helping ensure stability and reliability in production environments.
• Promote agile principles and practices within the engineering team, acting as a multiplier of an agile mindset.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to identify technical challenges, improve solutions, and continuously evolve the platform.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js and AngularJS.
• Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of Git, particularly in environments using Bitbucket.
• Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly SQS, Lambda, ECS, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of API design best practices and service-to-service integrations.
• Experience designing and developing scalable architectures, including microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and tools used to maintain the health and performance of distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, collaboration, and the ability to contribute to architectural decisions.
• Nice to have: experience with LoopBack 4 and Redis.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Nice to have: previous experience working with platform teams in SaaS companies.
• Nice to have: deeper knowledge of event-driven architectures, including pub/sub, retries, and fallback strategies.
• Nice to have: familiarity with machine learning concepts or applications involving AI.
