Accountabilities:

The Senior Fullstack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and evolving financial technology solutions while ensuring scalability, reliability, and high-quality engineering standards. The role requires ownership of technical decisions, collaboration with teams, and the ability to transform business needs into effective software solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java backend technologies and React or Angular frontend frameworks.
• Build and evolve distributed systems with event-driven architectures focused on scalability and performance.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, MVC, and WebFlux following best practices.
• Design and implement REST APIs with strong attention to architecture, security, and maintainability.
• Work with Kafka for event production, consumption, troubleshooting, and implementation of messaging best practices.
• Develop frontend applications with React and contribute to Angular solutions when required.
• Build resilient systems using patterns such as retries, fallbacks, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
• Design and implement BFF (Backend for Frontend) solutions to improve application integration and user experiences.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data management and system performance.
• Support deployments and troubleshooting in Kubernetes environments.
• Contribute to continuous integration pipelines, automation, and software delivery processes.
• Apply software engineering principles such as SOLID, Clean Code, automated testing, and quality assurance practices.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, technical discussions, solution design, and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a senior software engineer with strong full-stack development experience, solid architectural knowledge, and a passion for building reliable and scalable systems. Experience in financial technology environments and modern engineering practices will be highly valued.

• Solid experience in Java development, including Spring Boot, MVC, and WebFlux.
• Experience designing and developing distributed and event-driven architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, including production environments, consumers, producers, troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Professional experience with React for frontend application development.
• Experience with Angular is considered a plus.
• Strong understanding of API design principles and RESTful services.
• Experience implementing resilience and fault-tolerance strategies in distributed systems.
• Knowledge of unit testing, automated testing, and software quality practices.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployments, troubleshooting, and basic configurations.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration practices.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.
• Experience with solution design and software architecture.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and Clean Code practices.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance systems.
• Previous experience in financial services, recovery systems, guarantees, or similar domains is a plus.
• Participation in technical communities, open-source projects, or knowledge-sharing initiatives is an advantage.
