Accountabilities:

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and evolving backend solutions while ensuring quality, scalability, and maintainability. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to technical decisions, and support the continuous improvement of systems within a dynamic environment.

• Develop and evolve backend applications using Java and Spring Framework.
• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs and integrations between different systems.
• Analyze, implement, and support technology solutions focused on financial industry requirements.
• Apply software engineering best practices to ensure code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Create and maintain automated tests to improve application stability and delivery confidence.
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and solution design activities.
• Collaborate with agile teams using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, sharing knowledge and supporting team growth.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced backend developer with strong Java expertise, a solid understanding of software engineering principles, and the ability to work collaboratively on complex projects.

• Solid experience with Java development, preferably Java 8 or higher.
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Advanced SQL skills, including query creation, procedures, and query optimization.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including Clean Code, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
• Experience integrating systems through APIs and external services.
• Knowledge of unit testing practices and tools such as JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Proactive mindset, curiosity, and willingness to continuously learn and improve.
