Accountabilities:

As an Android Developer, you will take ownership of building and improving native Android experiences that make financial products simple, secure, and accessible. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from designing user flows to delivering and optimizing production-ready features.

• Build and ship high-quality Android features using Kotlin for financial services, payments, insurance, claims, renewals, and AI-assisted experiences.
• Design clean, intuitive mobile workflows that simplify complex user journeys and improve customer experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and AI specialists to deliver impactful mobile solutions.
• Integrate backend APIs and ensure mobile applications are secure, stable, responsive, and reliable.
• Improve application performance by monitoring crash rates, loading times, memory usage, and overall responsiveness.
• Use analytics, customer feedback, and production insights to continuously enhance product features.
• Apply AI capabilities thoughtfully to create meaningful improvements in mobile user experiences.
• Maintain strong engineering standards through clean code, effective debugging, and scalable architecture practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a product-minded Android engineer with strong technical foundations and experience delivering production mobile applications. You should be comfortable working independently, solving complex problems, and moving quickly while maintaining high quality standards.

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Android fundamentals and experience shipping applications used by real customers.
• Experience with modern Android development tools and frameworks, including Jetpack, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary architecture patterns.
• Strong understanding of mobile UX principles, usability, edge cases, and user journey design.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and troubleshooting production issues.
• Ability to optimize application reliability, performance, and overall user experience.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience showcasing shipped applications, GitHub contributions, app links, or previous mobile projects is highly valued.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Android SDK, SQL/NoSQL databases, and TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills required for collaboration across global teams.
