Accountabilities:

• Develop and evolve web and mobile applications using OutSystems, creating reusable components and business modules that support complex organizational needs.
• Define technical architectures and design scalable, secure, highly performant applications aligned with enterprise standards and recommended development patterns.
• Develop business logic, processing rules, and sophisticated application workflows while evaluating the technical impact of new requirements and changes.
• Build and consume REST and SOAP APIs, integrating applications with ERPs, CRMs, relational databases, legacy platforms, and other internal and external systems.
• Define and implement authentication and security strategies for integrations, ensuring reliability, traceability, and adherence to security best practices.
• Use OutSystems tools such as Service Studio, Integration Studio, Service Center, Lifetime, and Architecture Dashboard to support development, monitoring, governance, and application quality.
• Act as a technical reference for junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance on OutSystems best practices, architecture, coding standards, and engineering principles.
• Conduct code reviews and promote consistent quality standards across development activities and deliverables.
• Support the investigation and resolution of complex technical problems and critical incidents, contributing to reliable and resilient applications.
• Identify and address technical debt, continuously improving application architecture, development practices, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment, contributing to planning, technical discussions, and continuous delivery.

Requirements:

• Solid professional experience developing enterprise applications with the OutSystems platform, including Service Studio, Integration Studio, Service Center, and Lifetime.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture and experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs and with integrating applications across different platforms and systems.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent technologies, including data modeling and database interaction.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support modern web application development.
• Understanding of application security principles, authentication strategies, and secure integration practices.
• Experience with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for automated integration and delivery.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex technical issues and make sound architectural decisions.
• Senior-level communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor other developers and act as a technical reference.
• Commitment to code quality, technical standards, continuous improvement, and effective management of technical debt.
