You will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing database solutions across AWS platforms, ensuring security, availability, and scalability.

Accountabilities:

    As a Senior AWS Database Analyst, you will play a key role in managing database environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and operational excellence. You will support cloud initiatives, collaborate with technology teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of database processes and solutions.

    • Configure, monitor, and optimize AWS database services, including Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and related cloud database solutions.
    • Install, configure, and maintain database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
    • Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to improve efficiency.
    • Ensure data integrity, security, availability, and reliability across database environments.
    • Design and implement backup, recovery, and continuity strategies to protect critical data.
    • Maintain scripts and stored procedures to automate recurring tasks and improve operational consistency.
    • Manage database scalability using cloud capabilities such as auto-scaling and dynamic provisioning.
    • Collaborate with technology teams to integrate databases with applications and enterprise systems.
    • Provide technical support and resolve database-related incidents to maintain service availability.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures.
    • Build new environments, execute migrations, perform upgrades, and apply database patches.
    • Contribute to process improvements and the adoption of modern cloud and DevOps practices.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a highly technical and proactive professional with strong database administration experience, cloud knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively in dynamic technology environments.

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education qualification in technology or related fields.
      • Advanced knowledge of at least two database management systems, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
      • Strong experience with AWS cloud services and database solutions.
      • Proven experience in database installation, configuration, maintenance, migration, upgrades, and performance tuning.
      • Advanced English proficiency for communication in technical environments.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
      • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
      • Proactive mindset with curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, platforms, and tools.
      • Experience with cloud, automation, and DevOps practices is highly valued.
