Accountabilities:

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for developing analytical solutions, creating machine learning models, and translating data into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.

• Understand business challenges, identify opportunities, and develop machine learning or operational research models to support decision-making.
• Apply data visualization techniques to analyze problems, identify opportunities, and communicate findings effectively.
• Build predictive models using machine learning techniques to generate strategic insights.
• Model business challenges through operational research and implement efficient computational solutions.
• Present analytical results clearly to business stakeholders while maintaining technical and scientific rigor.
• Translate model outputs and discoveries into actionable recommendations.
• Monitor model performance and ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of results.
• Develop and mentor analysts by sharing knowledge about machine learning, artificial intelligence, and operational research concepts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote data-driven solutions and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in data science, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to combine technical knowledge with business problem-solving.

• Experience with Python and SQL programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of data science and operational research libraries, including Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, Keras, and OR-Tools.
• Solid understanding of statistics fundamentals, including random variables, probability distributions, and hypothesis testing.
• Experience developing supervised and unsupervised machine learning models.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational database modeling, including joins, group by, order by, and primary, secondary, and foreign keys.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, communicate insights clearly, and collaborate with different business areas.
• Strong analytical mindset and interest in applying artificial intelligence and data-driven approaches to business challenges.
