The AI System Architect will play a key role in designing and shaping next-generation artificial intelligence and high-performance computing solutions.
This position focuses on defining advanced AI system architectures that support complex customer needs and emerging technology initiatives.

Accountabilities:
- Own the overall AI system architecture strategy for advanced AI and high-performance computing infrastructure solutions.
- Develop technology roadmaps and architectural strategies across multiple platforms and product areas.
- Collaborate with AI specialists, system architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver complex solutions.
- Provide technical guidance, design input, and architectural reviews across multiple organizations.
- Communicate AI strategies, architectures, and technology visions to executives, customers, and industry partners.
- Influence technical direction and business decisions through recognized expertise in AI systems and infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers and technical professionals, promoting innovation and excellence in AI system design.
- Support the identification and development of future technical leaders.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize AI systems, software, and infrastructure solutions.
- Contribute to strategic engagements involving advanced AI deployments and customer requirements.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience working with AI and high-performance computing technologies.
- Typically 15+ years of overall professional experience in technology, engineering, or related domains.
- Proven experience designing and delivering AI systems and solutions that address real-world challenges.
- Deep understanding of AI system technologies, architectures, and infrastructure requirements.
- Strong knowledge of high-performance computing environments and AI platforms.
- Experience with AI-for-science applications or advanced research-driven AI use cases is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to create and communicate technical architectures, design proposals, and strategic recommendations.
- Experience working across business units and technical teams to deliver complex solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate effectively at executive levels.
- Experience contributing to industry standards, technical communities, or innovation initiatives is preferred.
- Competitive annual salary range of $170,000 - $412,500 USD (depending on location, experience, education, and skills).
