Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade cloud-native applications and services.
• Build robust microservices and REST APIs using Java and Python.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake to develop modern data and application solutions.
• Apply AI-first development practices to accelerate software delivery, automate repetitive engineering activities, improve code quality, and increase developer productivity.
• Take end-to-end ownership of services throughout their lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement solutions based on distributed systems and modern cloud-native architectures.
• Develop and maintain automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design sessions, code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile delivery activities.
• Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, business stakeholders, and distributed engineering teams.
• Work effectively with onsite and offshore teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while promoting engineering excellence and effective AI adoption.
• Investigate complex technical issues, troubleshoot production and development problems, and implement sustainable solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in both Java and Python.
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
• Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise-grade microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture principles.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with Git, automated testing frameworks, and Agile software development methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability and interest in applying AI throughout the software development lifecycle to improve productivity, automation, and engineering quality.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business functions.
• Strong mentoring and technical leadership capabilities, with an interest in driving engineering best practices and AI adoption.
