Overview

As an Assistant Project Manager at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and talented teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. You will gain vast industry experience that will open doors for you, extend your skillset and expand your perspective. We will empower, support, and enable you to take real responsibility in your role so that you can take charge of your career progression with us. For us lasting trusted relationships are everything, both with our teams and our clients.

We are seeking someone to support the delivery of a large-scale data center campus in Wichita Falls, Texas. This role will sit at the intersection of field construction, project controls, and construction technology, supporting the implementation of reality capture and progress-tracking solutions across multiple campus buildings.

The successful candidate will work closely with project management, cost, scheduling, general contractors, and trade partners to ensure accurate visibility into construction progress and drive adoption of technologies such as DroneDeploy Progress AI.

The Opportunity

In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Reality Capture & Field Support

    • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for ground-based reality capture activities across the data center campus.
    • Conduct weekly 360-degree construction site walkthroughs to capture accurate spatial and visual progress data.
    • Support the testing, piloting, and implementation of DroneDeploy Progress AI, validating technology-generated construction metrics against actual field conditions.
    • Identify discrepancies between captured field progress and project controls data and coordinate with the appropriate project teams to resolve them.

    Construction Technology Implementation

    • Support and manage the operational rollout of new construction technologies across the campus, including but not limited to DroneDeploy Progress AI and other project technology platforms.
    • Lead onboarding and structured training sessions for general contractors, subcontractors, and trade partners.
    • Drive adoption and consistent utilization of project technology tools across project teams.
    • Act as an on-site resource for contractors and project stakeholders, helping troubleshoot adoption challenges and improve processes.

    Project Controls & Cross-Functional Coordination

    • Partner closely with cost management and scheduling teams to ensure field observations align with cost, schedule, and milestone data.
    • Lead recurring progress meetings with site cost leads, project schedulers, and construction teams.
    • Coordinate weekly cross-functional integration between field teams, project controls, and technology platforms.
    • Monitor key construction milestones and escalate potential schedule or progress discrepancies when identified.

    Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

    • Prepare and deliver weekly status reports covering technology adoption, construction progress, milestone tracking, and schedule alignment.
    • Communicate findings and field observations clearly to project leadership and key stakeholders.
    • Track technology usage and engagement across contractors and trade partners, identifying opportunities to improve adoption and data quality.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field preferred
  • Approximately 2+ years of experience in construction, project management, project controls, field engineering, or construction technology preferred.
  • Experience supporting large-scale construction projects; data center, mission-critical, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, or other complex capital projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, schedules, milestones, and field progress tracking.
  • Comfortable working extensively in an active construction environment and conducting regular site walkthroughs.
  • Experience with construction technology or project management platforms such as DroneDeploy, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with general contractors, trade partners, schedulers, cost managers, and project leadership.
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Ability to translate field observations into clear, actionable project reporting.

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
