Senior Product Designer

Job Description

Seeking a product designer with 5-7 years of experience to lead end-to-end design across TV, web and mobile. You’ll drive problem-solving, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver user-centric, high-impact solutions demonstrating strong ownership, clarity, and execution.

ABOUT THE TEAM: 

Design is integral to shaping the user experience at JioHotstar. We have 4 key areas of focus - Product Design, UX Research, Design Standards and Creative Studio. We are a closely-knit team of 30+ people at the moment, who work across the spectrum of design from deriving insight from data, designing interfaces and prototypes, and testing with users to motion graphics and illustrations.

Key responsibilities

• Leading and designing new products, interfaces, and user experiences across multiple platforms

• Working with product designers & managers to define and redefine the problem statement, and come up with a project execution plan

• Coordinating with the UXR team & data science team, to devise and design impactful metrics-driven and user-centric solutions

• Collaborating with teams of engineers and product managers throughout the design process – from content to production – to create user flows, wireframes & build user-interface mockups and prototypes

Skills and attributes for success:

• 5-7 years of experience in building user experiences

• Proven solid, up-to-date understanding of best practices, developments, and trends in mobile & web

• Ability to confidently articulate UX design rationale and enjoy leading conversations with teams and key stakeholders

• Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects independently under stretched timelines

• Detail orientation, execution excellence, and entrepreneurial spirit

Preferred education and experience: 

• Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent in Design preferred. Overall 4-6 years of experience inDesign field as a Product Designer.
