Software Engineer - Test Internship

This role is office-based in Brno, Czech Republic. We are only able to accept applications for those based in the Czech Republic and have sponsorship to live and work in the Czech Republic. 

SUMMARY

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. We are looking for a student to join Jamf as Test Software Engineer Intern. We are after someone curious, analytical and someone who wants to learn how things work. You should also have an eye for a detail and be able to report a bug. As an Intern you will work closely in Agile Team to learn and experience how to plan, develop and test new features, improve existing functionality and support new releases the moment they are made available by Apple.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learning how to use different technologies via contributing to assigned projects
• Collaborate with more experienced engineers
• Efficiently use available tools with guidance
• Learn and follow engineering best practices and processes
• Maintain a positive attitude while working through challenges

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong Communication Skills: must be able to communicate clearly and openly, especially within remote-working type of environment (Required)
• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming language - Java, C#...
• Basic knowledge of DNS and networking
• Basic knowledge of SQL (be able to run and slightly modify the given SQL query)
• Natrural curiousity and ability to formulate questions
• Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results-driven culture
• Good Listening Skills

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

• Graduated from high school, with a current and active "student" status (any technical and/or IT-related field is preferred)  (Required)
