Backend Developer

About the Role

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications and APIs using the .NET framework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable backend solutions that support modern enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using the .NET framework.

· Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.

· Integrate backend services with databases and frontend applications.

· Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following development best practices.

· Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend applications.

· Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and solution architects.

· Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile development activities.

· Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 3–8 years of experience in .NET backend application development.

· Strong experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.

· Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and database development.

· Good understanding of software design principles, clean code, and scalable application architecture.

· Experience with Git and version control workflows.

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.

· Experience with microservices architecture.

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

· Experience with container technologies such as Docker.
