Jadeer is hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a Security Systems Design Engineer position within the Security Design & Engineering function.
Role Overview
The Security Systems Design Engineer will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering electronic security system designs across commercial, industrial, infrastructure, data center, and technically complex projects. The role covers the full project lifecycle from design through construction support, testing, commissioning, and handover.
Key Responsibilities
Security Systems Design
• Design CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Security, Intercom, VMS, PSIM, SOC, and integrated security systems
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, schematics, BOMs, equipment schedules, and network architecture diagrams
• Ensure designs are accurate, compliant, and aligned with project requirements
Design & Coordination
• Develop system layouts, equipment selections, cable requirements, security zoning, and system interfaces
• Coordinate designs with Architecture, MEP, ICT, BIM, CAD, contractors, and project teams
• Review AutoCAD drawings, Revit models, layouts, and coordination drawings
Project Support
• Support technical queries, RFIs, design changes, site coordination, testing, commissioning, and handover
• Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, and design reviews
• Support integration with BMS, Fire & Life Safety, ICT, OT, and third-party systems
Pre-Sales Support
• Support technical proposals, preliminary designs, equipment selection, Bills of Materials, and solution development
• Ensure proposed solutions are technically practical and deliverable
Requirements & Qualifications
• Degree or diploma in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Security Systems, ICT, Telecommunications, or related field
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in electronic security systems design
• Strong experience with CCTV, Access Control, VMS, Intrusion Detection, and integrated security systems
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering and construction environments
• Experience preparing technical documentation and supporting testing, commissioning, and handover
Technical Expertise
Experience with platforms such as Genetec, LenelS2, Gallagher, Milestone, Avigilon, Axis, Hanwha Vision, and Bosch is highly relevant.
Preferred Certifications
SIRA, Genetec, Gallagher, LenelS2, Milestone, Axis, CPTED, Revit, or BIM certifications are preferred.
