Why We Need you!
Ivanti is currently seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to work with the ITSM Engineering team on helping customers by ensuring the products are implemented and functioning as needed to achieve their desired outcomes. A Software Engineer on this team will be a cross functional member who can work within a highly experienced group of engineers, as well as collaborate with others outside of the team to build industry leading Service Management.
We are looking for a highly skilled Security Developer to join our team and help us safeguard our software applications from potential threats. As a Security Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures that protect our software from unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security risks. You will work closely with our development and IT teams to ensure that security is integrated into the software development lifecycle from the ground up. Your role will involve conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing strategies to mitigate risks. You will also be responsible for staying up to date with the latest security trends and technologies, and for providing guidance and training to other team members on security best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and cybersecurity, with experience in secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability management. You should be familiar with various security tools and technologies, and have a deep understanding of common security threats and how to defend against them. What you will do:
- Integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- OWASP secure coding practices by default
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Design and implement security measures for software applications.
- Conduct security assessments and identify vulnerabilities.
- Develop strategies to mitigate security risks.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure security best practices.
- Conduct penetration testing, exploit analysis and vulnerability assessments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
- Securing applications (Cloud based and On Prem) and integrate solutions for IT Service Management.
- Deliver quality code via unit testing, continuous integration through test automation coverage and maintaining it.
- Work within a truly agile team that is willing to do whatever it takes to make the team successful.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure overall security of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Security Developer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with secure coding practices and threat modeling.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of common security threats and how to defend against them.
- Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- 6+ years of full stack development experience in Object Oriented Programming design & development using ASP.NET Core, MVC, C# and MS SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis
- 2+ years of working experience on Cloud computing Azure or AWS
- Working exposure of Azure DevOPs, Pipelines
- Experience of build secure by design solution within a containerized environment.
- Working exposure of AKS, Docker.
- Experience in object-oriented JavaScript, Node JS, TypeScript, CSS2/CSS3 and HTML/HTML5.
- Experience building Single Page Applications (SPA) using MVC model with Responsive Design.
- Good understanding of SOAP/REST Web services.
- Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy in daily work, ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in Distributed and scalable cloud solutions
