At Ivanti, our Pre Sales Engineers work closely with our customers to understand and validate their technical challenges, identify the business problems associated with those challenges and uncover the value the customer will receive by choosing Ivanti to solve their problem.
India is our fastest growing market in Asia and we are looking for an SE Leader for our India SE's and who can also perform SE duties such as demonstrations, POC's etc.
About The Team
The International Sales organization at Ivanti is dedicated to understanding and surpassing the expectations of our customers by providing exceptional software and innovative solutions. Our goal is to establish ourselves as a leading global technology provider, empowering organizations to excel in the Everywhere Work by automating processes for discovering, managing, securing and servicing all IT assets.
What You Will Be Doing
- PreSales - Collaborate closely with account managers from the sales team to identify and drive projects towards successful closing.
- Customers - Responsible for preparing and attending customer meetings and tailoring communications to address business needs of potential clients as part of the pre-sales process
- Product Demonstrations - Deliver effective product demonstrations to customers and prospects, if necessary tailored for their individual requirements
- Leadership - The candidate needs to show leadership at a regional level. Commercial Awareness – Manage and maintain a level of commercial awareness within the Sales Engineering team, ensuring all members of the Sales Engineering community can articulate Ivanti's propositions at CxO level.
- Communication – Ensure that all communication paths both in and out of the local Sales Engineering team are developed and maintained. This will include communicating with the other Sales Engineering Managers and ensuring that corporate strategy is translated to work within region.
- Culture – Champion the Ivanti culture within the Sales Engineering team to create a high performing business with an appreciation of the core values as part of the day to day business.
- On-Boarding – Manage the local on-boarding of new Sales/Sales Engineer’s enabling them to be brought up to speed in a set period of time.
- Training, Development & Career Progression – Ensure that every Sales Engineer individual has an effective career and development path to follow, thus allowing for consistent progression through Ivanti and enabling regional succession planning.
- Sales Demonstrations – Ensure Sales Engineering individuals are capable and have the relevant resources to carry out an effective Ivanti live demonstration.
- Sales Engineering Engagement Methodology – Enforce a set of best practices to enable the team to help create, manage and close sales opportunities.
To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have
- At least 3 years experience in Sales Engineering or PreSales Management or similar technical/sales roles incl. people management.
- Experience providing technical demonstrations, pilots and proof-of-concepts to a varied audience.
- Experience with software-based solution deployments, configuration, and integration.
- Experience with Endpoint Management or UEM Solutions such as Ivanti EPM, Microsoft SCCM or InTune, ManageEngine etc.
- Ability to relate to a wide range of technical staff, managers and executives in customer environments.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to handle various tasks.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
