Description
We are looking for a Junior to Mid-level Data Engineer to join our team and support key data infrastructure and reporting operations. The role focuses on working with traditional data stack technologies and ETL processes, contributing to the development and maintenance of data pipelines and reporting solutions. You will work closely with data teams and business stakeholders to support data extraction, transformation, reporting, and data quality processes. Technologies may include SQL, SSIS, Power BI and cloud ETL tools such as Informatica IDMC.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS or similar ETL tools
- Support data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple data sources
- Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI while ensuring data quality and consistency
- Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into data models
- Contribute to the maintenance and documentation of existing data pipelines and workflows
- Support troubleshooting and optimisation of existing data processes
- Assist in improving data architecture and reporting capabilities
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, BI, or similar roles
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS or similar solutions
- Experience building reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms or ETL tools (e.g. Informatica IDMC) is considered an advantage
- Good understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
