  • Support localization efforts for the ElliQ mobile app, caregiver experiences, onboarding flows, and in-product content.
  • Participate in user research reviews and incorporate insights from Japanese users into design recommendations.
  • Help maintain visual consistency between the global ElliQ brand and localized Japanese experiences (where possible).
  • Provide feedback on cultural nuances, accessibility considerations, and age-friendly design best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, visual design, UI design, or related fields.
  • Native-level Japanese proficiency.
  • Business-level English communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of Japanese culture, aesthetics, and design conventions.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience working with international product teams.
  • Ability to balance consistency with the global brand while tailoring experiences for local audiences.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience designing products or services for older adults.
  • Experience with localization or transcreation projects.
