What You ‘ll Be Doing:
- Analysis of a communication system with a focus on tactical communication systems, mostly wireless (land, naval, air), 5G and satellite systems, supporting both voice and data services.
- Physical and Functional architecture and design.
- Coordination of design, development (prototyping), integration and testing/verification activities over the complete communication system lifecycle.
- Requirements management.
- Preparation of design/ test documentation & technical drawings.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- 5-year Diploma/Integrated Master in Electrical & Computer Engineering (with Major in Communications preferably) or University Degree with a MSc in Communications or Networking/Data Communications.
- Knowledge and experience with various wired and wireless communication systems, protocols & interfaces, cybersecurity issues & policies.
- At least three years’ experience in systems engineering (e.g. system architecture and design, systems documentation, system requirements).
Desired:
- Experience in design, development, integration, testing and verification of communication systems.
- Experience with analytical and simulation tools, e.g. MATLAB, Simulink
- Experience using MBSE tools to model complex systems and processes using SysML, UML, e.g. Enterprise Architect and tools for requirements management (e.g. DOORS).

- High sense of accountability and great ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
