This role partners closely with IT, Security, HR, Finance, and other business stakeholders to translate process needs into scalable, maintainable platform capabilities.

As a Developer, you will help build and enhance the platform, develop integrations and automations, support ITSM and related workflows, and ensure solutions are secure, well-documented, and aligned with platform standards.

For internal candidates, this role represents advancement into a specialized platform development path, requiring strong technical aptitude, disciplined configuration practices, and the ability to deliver reliable solutions while collaborating across functional teams.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Platform Development: Design, develop, configure, and maintain applications, modules, forms, lists, flows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, script includes, notifications, service catalog items, and related platform components.
  • Workflow Automation and Process Enablement Build and improve workflows using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, approvals, catalog workflows, and automation capabilities that reduce manual effort and improve service delivery across the organization.
  •  ITSM and Enterprise Service Management Support: Support and enhance ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Asset, and Configuration Management. Partner with stakeholders to extend capabilities into additional business functions when appropriate.
  • Integrations and Data Management: Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, import sets, transform maps, scheduled jobs, and other integration patterns. Ensure data quality, reliability, and traceability across connected systems.
  • Platform Quality and Release Management: Participate in development, testing, code review, deployment, and post-release validation. Promote changes through development, test, and production environments using disciplined release and change management practices.
  • Security, Governance, and Compliance: Implement role-based access controls, ACLs, data policies, audit practices, and secure development standards. Partner with Information Security and platform owners to ensure solutions align with organizational policies and compliance expectations.
  • Troubleshooting and Operational Support: Serve as an escalation resource for defects, performance issues, workflow failures, integration errors, and user-impacting incidents. Conduct root cause analysis and implement durable fixes.
  •  Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear technical documentation, configuration notes, solution designs, support runbooks, and user guidance. Share knowledge with administrators, support teams, and business stakeholders to improve platform adoption and supportability.
  • AI and Platform Innovation: Evaluate and responsibly apply AI, automation, and virtual agent capabilities where they improve user experience, operational efficiency, and service quality. Follow approved guardrails for AI-assisted development and platform use.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Embody Core Values: Lead by example in upholding Intermedia's Core Values: Deliver Exceptional Experiences, Learn and Improve, Act with Integrity, Be Transparent, Succeed as One Team.

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with process owners, business analysts, administrators, and end users to understand needs, validate requirements, and deliver practical solutions.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Handle sensitive information with discretion and adhere to all organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

What you will bring to the role:

  • 3-6 years of progressive experience developing, administering, or supporting in an enterprise environment.
  •  Demonstrated success delivering enhancements from requirements through production deployment.
  • Experience working in ITSM, enterprise service management, or business workflow automation environments.
Technical Expertise:
  • Strong hands-on experience with configuration and development, including forms, lists, tables, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, script includes, notifications, catalog items, and Flow Designer.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and scripting concepts; familiarity with HTML, CSS, APIs, and web application fundamentals.
  • Experience with ITSM processes; exposure to CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalog, Knowledge, Asset, or Change Management preferred.
  • Experience building and troubleshooting integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, import sets, transform maps, and scheduled data loads.
  • Understanding of security concepts including roles, groups, ACLs, data policies, and secure development practices.
  • Familiarity with release management, update sets, application repository/source control concepts, testing practices, and platform upgrade readiness.
Professional Skills:
  • Strong communicator and collaborative partner, able to work effectively with a Senior Developer to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions. Skilled at clarifying requirements, explaining platform behavior, identifying dependencies, and bridging communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborative problem-solver with the ability to balance stakeholder priorities, best practices, platform standards, and long-term maintainability.
