Applies technical background/specialized technology domain knowledge to manage complex projects and/or programs that are directly tied to the development, implementation, or upgrade of technology solutions/services. Collaborates across organizations to develop detailed plan(s) and manages all implementation processes including change control process, testing, documentation, training, while ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, resource allocation, and scope. Outlines proposals for assigned projects and/or programs including business objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing. Develops a comprehensive schedule(s) while monitoring future work to proactively adjust for unforeseen scheduling challenges. Reviews the project/program schedule with all relevant stakeholders to make updates as and when required. Assesses subproject dependencies and program constructs by leveraging multiple methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) and develops project/program indicators to manage program health including schedule, quality, and timelines. Communicates anomalies clearly by concisely stating the problem and specific impact to the project. Identifies tasks, assesses costs, identifies, and assigns specific resources, and communicates expectations to team members. Reviews user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity. Conducts project/program close out assessment and creates a recommendations report documenting the successful and unsuccessful project/program elements.

Qualifications:

Required focus upon:

  • Graphics Storage Methodology: Required to set up end to end protocols for the Graphics team to manage the NFS storage infrastructure, it's lifecycle and stay compliant with long term data retention policies at Intel.
  • Emulation Efficiency: Drive Engineering workgroups with vendors and other Engineering stakeholders to deliver substantial improvements to Emulation runtime, compile time, reduced model sizes, new tech readiness and support Engineering teams to deliver Unified Emulation plan across Graphics.
  • Engineering Compute (EC) and Emulation (Emu) Support: Primary Ops support for prelim EC/Emu debugs, enable new projects and accesses, EC/Emu tool trainings, monthly EC indicators and triage issues for Ops and IT.

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Understanding the complementing High Performance Computing (HPC) support domains and skills and work together to ensure a stable, performing, monitored and productive environment.
  • Provide data for plan and long-term roadmaps, monitor budgets and spending.
  • Design/validation of compute efficiency improvements and presenting progress to key stakeholders and BU leadership.Data-lifecycle governance.
  • Understand the various Emulator options across vendors and have handled their configuration management on day to day basis.
  • Providing technical guidance to BU key contacts and peers within HPC/IT.
  • Understanding various server architectural blueprints, operating system build technologies, system management, as well as concepts for containerized computing.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and automation to improve and drive efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in unifying Emulation scope and plan across the Engineering scope for HW design lifecycle.
  • Experience in system administration infrastructure performance tuning/scalability, troubleshooting.
