In this role you will have the opportunity to work across the entire software stack, across multiple operating systems and platforms to enable cutting-edge Containers as a Service (CaaS) solutions. You will be part of dedicated engineering team who will be responsible for all aspects of product delivery including design, development, testing, integration, deployment, and operations.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
The following preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

 

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in the following:

- Software and/or systems engineering.
- Experience with Linux.
- Experience with Kubernetes in deploying and managing clusters.
- Advanced English level.
- Costa Rican unrestricted work permit.

Preferred qualifications:

- Knowledge of scripting e.g. Python, Shell, Ruby, Perl, etc.
- Knowledge of Cloud Environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack, etc.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies e.g. KVM, VirtualBox.
- Knowledge of SQL Databases, e.g. MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools, such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Salt.
