Senior Software Engineer

Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry and we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build ad verification, analytics, and anti-ad fraud solutions that deliver on the team’s mission of helping advertisers understand the quality of the ad data they’re purchasing within the digital media ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, dedicated, detailed-oriented with a strong desire to work with awesome people in a highly collaborative environment and will be the ‘go to’ person for technical advice and expertise for our platform. 

What you’ll do:

• Lead the entire software lifecycle, including hands-on development in Java and React, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation, in addition to mentoring the team

• Partner with the Product team and other stakeholders across the company to understand product requirements, gather business and technical requirements from broadcaster clients, and research and develop solutions, including API development

• Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, exciting, collaborative environment

 Who you are and what you have: 

• 5+ years of hands-on full-stack programming experience in Java, REACT and SQL queries

• In-depth understanding of object oriented programming concepts

• Experience partnering with Product and other high level stakeholders across the company to meet business deliverables

• Understanding of full software development life cycle, agile development and continuous integration

• Ability to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing

What puts you over the top:

• Experience with Kubernetes (k8s), MySQL, gRPC, Databricks, Snowflake

• Experience with big data, ETL pipelines and AWS Services

• Experience in AdTech
