Our Potential Opportunity

INTECH Automation & Intelligence is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Mechanical Engineer to join our Wellhead and Skids Solutions team. This role is pivotal in supporting Modular Skid Packages, Wellhead Control Panels, and Pressure Regulation Systems to enhance the safe and efficient operation of oil and gas systems. INTECH’s commitment to innovative designs and reliable systems ensures you will contribute to impactful projects in industries such as Oil & Gas and Utilities.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver

  • Assist senior engineers with basic mechanical design work for Oil & Gas projects.
  • Learn and support piping design, stress analysis, and material selection activities.
  • Assist and learn in the selection and review of mechanical equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, and compressors.
  • Help prepare technical documents, vendor comparisons, proposals, and procurement-related information.
  • Work with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors while following quality, safety, schedule, and cost requirements.

Requirements

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Fresh graduate or candidate with up to one year of relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of piping design, piping stress concepts, and engineering design reviews.
  • Academic knowledge of static and rotary equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, and compressors.
  • Internship exposure in Mechanical Engineering along with a relevant final-year Mechanical Engineering project is preferred.
  • Strong willingness to learn engineering software, industry standards, and project execution practices.
