We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for PCB design to join InstaDeep and contribute to DeepPCB. In this role, you’ll collaborate with AI/ML teams to help enhance our cutting-edge autorouter and placement tools, playing a crucial part in shaping the future of PCB design. Your expertise in PCB design will help guide DeepPCB’s feature development process, and you will have a critical role in helping shape the roadmap of the product. 

DeepPCB is an AI-powered, fully autonomous printed circuit board tool that accelerates the design process while boosting industrial-grade PCB performance. With our platform, users can create and scale their products without compromise, paying only for what they use.

As a Senior PCB Layout Engineer at InstaDeep, you will be responsible for the following on DeepPCB:

  • Work closely with AI/ML teams to implement and refine features.
  • Provide valuable technical feedback that informs product improvements, contributing to the product’s roadmap.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support.
  • Ensure our designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability standards.

Qualifications (any experience level is welcome—enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key!):

  • 3-5+ years of experience in PCB layout design
  • Familiarity with PCB software, both for design and simulation (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Allegro, ADS, SiWave, etc).
  • Understanding of key PCB concepts such as high-speed design, EMI/EMC, DDR.
  • Any experience with industry standards (e.g., IPC, JEDEC) or DFM/DFT principles is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience of PCB fabrication processes and technologies (materials, stack-ups etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
