Job Description

insightsoftware is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the .NET framework, C#, and .NET Core technologies. Knowledges of SAP OData is a plus.
You will be responsible for implementing new features, enhancements, and maintain high quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and contribute to the success of our organization.
You are the type of person that actively stays up to date with the latest technologies to keep learning and to improve your technical skills and looks to relate new learnings into potential improvements within the teams' processes or day-to-day activities through a mindset of continual improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Operate in a fast-paced, iterative development environment; learn and adapt to new business demands and changing technologies.
  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework, C# and .NET Core technologies.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Keep software components loosely coupled as we grow.
  • Contribute improvements to our continuous delivery infrastructure.
  • Drive roadmap execution and enhance customer feedback into the product.
  • Develop, collaborate on, and execute Agile development, product scenarios, in order to release high quality software on a regular cadence. 
  • Proactively assist your team to find and solve development and production software issues through effective collaboration. 
  • Work closely with product managers, QA engineers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, including spring planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.

  • Understanding Product and Technology Stack: Gain a deep understanding of the product features and familiarize yourself with the product’s technology stack, development process, and coding standards.
  • Contributing to Product development: Begin contributing to ongoing product development, taking ownership of tasks and delivering high quality code.

Qualifications

Qualifications/ Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent job experience
  • 5-8 years of product development experience using C#, .NET, .Net Core.
  • Experience with SAP OData is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Strong knowledge in REST APIs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in implementing web applications according to current industry standards.
  • Experience in writing high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Experience with relational databases (like Microsoft SQL Server) and query languages (like SQL)
  • Experience with GIT and CI/CD pipeline.
