Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure cloud)

Job Description

This CloudOps Engineer role will primarily be responsible for deploying new customer instances, performing upgrades, and troubleshooting any errors encountered during these processes. 

Qualifications

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain mission critical applications running in Microsoft Azure for customers across the globe 
• Proactively analyze existing process to identify gaps and improvement opportunities 
• Troubleshoot and resolve product deployment and upgrade issues 
• Ensure proper security controls are enforced 
• Perform scheduled maintenance activities 
• Able and be willing to occasionally work during Eastern Time Zone with the North American team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server administration and Microsoft IIS is required 
• Hands-on experience with Powershell scripting is required
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Virtual Machines is required and Azure SQL Managed Instances is preferred

Additional Information

• Hands-on experience with reading and executing SQL queries is preferred
• Experience with managing multi-tenant SaaS applications is strongly preferred 
• Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, Ansible, Terraform, and Git is strongly preferred 
• Ability to work in a rapidly evolving environment, effectively balance multiple priorities, work with cross-functional teams
