Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive EMEA HR Generalist with a focus on employee benefits administration to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will play a key role in employee relations, performance management, HR administration, and compliance, along with benefits-focused tasks including managing and administering a range of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, retirement, and other employee well-being initiatives for our EMEA-based population. The ideal candidate will have a broad experience of supporting employee HR queries across a number of countries, as well as an understanding of benefits administration, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization to ensure they have a positive experience. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Benefits Administration:

  • Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, life insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other voluntary benefits. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries and provide guidance on eligibility, plan options, and enrollment processes. 
  • Assist employees in navigating benefit-related issues, including claims and coverage questions, to ensure timely resolutions. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all the vendors or brokers and assist with queries and activities to be performed to maintain the benefits. 
  • Advise employees about process et entitlement regarding family leaves and other leave of absence.  
  • Support and administer the benefits activities relative to Mergers & Acquisitions. 

Employee Relations: 

  • Act as a trusted HR partner for managers and employees, offering guidance on HR policies, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Handle employee queries and resolve issues related to HR policies, employment laws, and workplace behaviour. 

Compliance & Reporting: 

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and monitor benefit related statutory changes 
  • Monitor and ensure the timely filing of all necessary benefits-related reports and documentation. 

Benefits Analysis & Communication: 

  • Analyze current benefit offerings and trends in the market to make recommendations for plan improvements and cost-effective options. 
  • Partner with HR leadership to assess and implement benefits programs that align with organizational goals and employee needs. 
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise, and engaging communication materials about benefits programs, including benefits guides, intranet content, and email communications. 

Employee Onboarding & Education: 

  • Educate new employees about available benefits during the onboarding process. 
  • Ensure all new hires are enrolled to the required benefits in their country. 

Recordkeeping & Documentation: 

  • Maintain accurate records for all employee benefit programs. 
  • Process benefits-related changes (e.g., life events, status changes) and ensure timely updates to the appropriate vendors and systems. 
  • Ensure the HRIS (Workday) holds accurate employee data. 

Collaboration & Support: 

  • Work closely with other HR team members to integrate benefits programs with other HR services, such as payroll, finance, compensation, and performance management. 
  • Support the configuration of benefits solutions in the HRIS (Workday). 

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience: 

  • Experience in Human Resources with a focus on benefits administration. 
  • Strong knowledge of benefits-related laws and regulations  
  • Experience with HRIS systems and benefits enrolment platforms. 

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Polish, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex benefits concepts to employees. 
  • Additional language skills would be advantageous 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. 
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
