The Opportunity

We’re at the forefront of building AI agents for risk teams here at Inscribe. We are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about developing innovative AI solutions that solve real customer problems to join us on this journey. You will contribute to both frontend and backend development. You'll also get into the data, talk and listen to our customers, and help shape the direction of our product. This role offers the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art technology with a team that values experimentation, support, and speed.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend and frontend functionality with clean, well-designed code

  • Propose solutions to customer problems and work closely with the Product and GTM teams to prioritize platform developments

  • Document key decisions, ideas, and approaches

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

  • Contribute actively to the full project lifecycle

  • Understand the product, codebase, and contribute to ongoing and new projects


About You

  • Experience implementing well-designed, testable solutions

  • Proficient in Python and willing to learn new technologies across the full stack

  • Strong product-driven mindset, with a passion for solving customer problems

  • Collaborative, adaptable team player with strong communication skills

  • Experience with VueJS and LLMs is a plus


Interview Process

  1. Initial Screen with the Hiring Manager to share your experience (1 hour)

  2. Check In Call with the Head of People to understand your motivations and expectations (30 minutes)

  3. Take Home Technical Exercise followed by a live discussion with 1-2 team members to assess your technical ability (1 hour)

  4. Meet our CTO to discuss Inscribe’s vision and align on values (45 minutes)

The salary range is inclusive of 3 levels - Engineer II, Engineer III, and Senior Engineer. Level is determined during the interview process.
