Data Analyst - Value Engineering

Your Role

We at Value Engineering in Innovaccer are looking for Data Analysts that will help us certifying and validate the different measures used in the U.S Healthcare, be it Quality, Utilization or Financial. You will be a part of the expanding Healthcare Innovations team, with plenty of opportunities to interact with project stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Your primary focus will be to execute pre-determined data queries using SQL and Python would be bonus, so that they can easily be executed on the Customer's data and populate templates for analysis . You will be required to analyze the US healthcare VBC KPI's and Value Based Care Models to identify trends, scenarios, outcomes and value drivers. This is a fast-paced, collaborative and iterative environment requiring quick learning, agility and flexibility.

A Day in the Life

• Work as part of the project team to manage the data processing and reporting functions associated with data and performance of big data.
• Create reports.
• Create, run and validate the queries on Big Data Databases.
• Do data manipulation and create JSON configurations based on standard definitions for quality measures (Running of Measures).
• Check for the degree of correctness (Uploading the Score key).
• Analyse the mismatched result and discuss with the team.(Finding the Key Issues for mismatch).
• Working with other teams for different client with same work but different challenges.
• Provide support to other teams for data validation.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or healthcare information technology with <2 years of experience
• Experience with writing JSON and SQL queries is required. The ability to write Python queries and or ability to work with Power BI will be a bonus.
• Should be well versed with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and presentation products 
• Should have very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Should be detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy.
• Should have worked and succeeded as an individual contributor.
• Ability to understand complex requirements and derive solutions.
• Ability to learn quickly and desire to take on new challenges.
• Ability to compare and contrast data between system builds/code updates.
• Ability to work on multiple assignments and achieve objectives and deadlines.
• Quick learner with an interest in big data.
• Knowledge of HEDIS quality measures will be a bonus.
